Radiant is building the world’s first mass-produced nuclear microreactors. The company’s first reactor, Kaleidos, is a 1 MW microreactor that can be transported anywhere power is needed.
Founded in 2020, Radiant's mission is to mass produce the most economical and reliable portable reactors. Radiant is set to test its first reactor -- Kaleidos, a 1 MW microreactor -- in 2026 at the Idaho National Laboratory's DOME facility, with initial customer deployments beginning in 2028. Radiant's test is on track to be the first new commercial U.S. reactor design to achieve a fueled test in over 50 years.
